At Japan Society, NY in April.  Carlos, originally from Trinidad & Tobago, delivered his message to Japan in fluent Japanese.

４月３０日は震災が起こってから４９日目。ニューヨークに住む日本人女性で結成されたJP GIRLS NYCは、４９日にちなんで黙祷、募金運動 “Memorial for The 49th day after Japan Quake” をセントラルパーク脇で行いました。このイベントに参加したティナからのメッセージです。

Tina participated at “Memorial for The 49th day after Japan Quake” by JP GIRLS NYC. April 30th was 49th day since the disaster happened. Japanese Buddhist believe that a person’s spirit remains on earth for 7 weeks and require a ceremony to help send them off peacefully.
